Public Art Peeps: where to party next?

Hi all,

I hope everyone is having a great summer so far! I have some good news and…I could really use your help.

Here’s the deal: I thought I had a venue lined up for the fall Public Art Party, but it appears to have vanished into the ether. I’m still working on it, but I thought I would pose this question to everyone.

Do you know a place that could host our next event in September or October 2025?

We need a venue with the following criteria:

• A free space (no fees)

• Occupancy up to 100 people

• Chairs for up to 100 people

• Food allowed

• Alcohol allowed

• Sound system

• Microphones (lapel or headset)

• ADA compliant/Accessible

• Ideally close to public transit in the 5 boroughs

In GOOD news, we do have a space for spring! Please save April 16th for a Public Art Party at Powerhouse Arts in Brooklyn! The panel will focus on different types of fabrication…should be extremely cool. If there is a particular type of fabrication you’re interested in learning about, comment below and let’s all brainstorm together.
